Vonage introduced new unlimited international plans as an additional to the existing unlimited US calls plan ($24.99/month). They have the Basic, Enhanced, Europe, Asia, and Mexico & Latin America plans. You can check out the different plans at http://www.vonage.com/lp/US/world. But why isn’t Philippines listed? Is PLDT or the government there still trying to halt the progression of VOIP technology? Well at least we have a Vonage unit there where Abby can call her family whenever she fells like it – and vice versa. But it’s limited to that location only. Wouldn’t it be great if they have Philippines as part of this plan? I’d get another unit here in the US and will be able to call all my relatives in the Philippines, where ever they are. Lets hope they do something soon.
