Abby experienced her first 2 earthquakes this past Wednesday night. We were watching Grey’s Anatomy on Tivo while it happened. Being that I’ve lived in California for awhile I’m used to it so I just ignored it. She thought it was a big truck that drove by at first then it got bigger. I started…
I’m glad The Simpsons, American Dad, and Family Guy all have season premeires tonight. I was worried I had nothing to watch with Entourage season finale last week, no NBA season until November, and no Law & Order: SVU season premiere yet. Gotta go, I’m in the middle of my premieres.
Hi everyone, it has been a while since I last blogged. It’s just a month to go then I will be completing my internship hours. I know that after passing the FPGEE and TOEFL this is another obstacle since the recession made it difficult for foreign grads to find internship position in the location most…
Another maintenance schedule for my 2004 TL. This time it’s the coolant replacement, front brakes and rotors and the usual oil change. As usual they set me up with a loaner for a day. This time they lent me a 2009 TL (base model – no navi, no SH-AWD). Like all versions of the 4th…
My cousin Ronald and I had a bet on the 2010 NBA Finals. The loser buys the winner a swingman jersey, wear it while making a video and read off a speech prepared by the winner. I lost but he didn’t want to write a speech is I had to make up what I had…
Wow! Ever since I showed Abby how to blog, she has out-blogged me. Now it’s my turn. As Abby mentioned we arrived last Wednesday. Finally! After spending almost 3 months in Philippines, I have discovered the truth and a new found perspective about my homeland. Sadly, it is not as good as I thought it…
Good day, Ma’am! I’ve been reading your posts about pharmacy practice in the US for a few months now, and I would just like to ask a question. Are there pharmacy-related jobs that allow a foreign pharmacists to work while they don’t have FPGEC yet? For example in the regulatory field? Also, I read somewhere that temporary H1B visas are converted to permanent residency status once a pharmacist has FPGEC already, I was wondering if you have any insight about this?Btw, I am a fresh grad from the Philippines and I just passed the board exam here. Thanks in advance! God bless! 🙂
