Congratulations to Abby’s 1st Earthquake

Abby experienced her first 2 earthquakes this past Wednesday night. We were watching Grey’s Anatomy on Tivo while it happened. Being that I’ve lived in California for awhile I’m used to it so I just ignored it. She thought it was a big truck that drove by at first then it got bigger. I started to laugh and she got more worried. I told her it was “just” an earthquake. She started to calm down until 2 minutes later another aftershock hit. Then she started to ask all sorts of questions. I told her she’ll get used to it. No matter where we live, there’s a natural disaster in that area – whether it’s tornadoes, hurricanes, snow storms, etc.
